How it works
The full process, step by step
This is the path from our first conversation to your arrival, and what happens after. At each step you will see what we do, what you do and what the university does.
- Us
- You
- The university
Important note about the visa
We are not immigration lawyers. Students handle their visa themselves with the university and the consulate.
1. First conversation
- Us
- We listen, review your situation and tell you honestly which options we see.
- You
- You tell us your story, your grades, your sport if you have one and what you are looking for.
- The university
- Not involved yet.
2. Plan and profile
- Us
- We prepare a plan with dates and help you organise your academic and athletic profile.
- You
- You gather grades and certificates and, if you compete, film your highlight video.
- The university
- Not involved yet.
3. English test and grade evaluation
- Us
- We guide you on which test to take, when, and how to get your grades evaluated.
- You
- You register and take the test, and request any official documents needed.
- The university
- Sets which test and score it accepts.
4. Search: coaches or universities
- Us
- We help you reach out to coaches or choose a list of universities.
- You
- You reply to coaches, take calls and decide where to apply.
- The university
- Coaches review profiles and may show interest.
5. Applications and offers
- Us
- We support you with applications and help you understand each offer.
- You
- You complete applications and choose the option you like best.
- The university
- Reviews your application and may make an offer.
6. Admission
- Us
- We go through the admission letter and next steps with you.
- You
- You accept your place and meet the deadlines you are given.
- The university
- Decides on admission and sends you confirmation.
7. University paperwork
- Us
- We help you gather and review the documents the university asks for.
- You
- You send documents such as proof of funds and your passport.
- The university
- Issues the documents for your student visa, such as Form I-20.
8. Visa
- Us
- We explain the general steps so you know what to expect. We do not process visas.
- You
- You book the appointment, pay the fees and attend the consulate interview.
- The university
- Provides the documents you need. The consulate decides on the visa.
9. At university
- Us
- We stay in touch: we check in on how you're doing and, if a problem comes up, we work through it together and tell you who to turn to.
- You
- You tell us how it's going and message us whenever you need, from your student area or by email.
- The university
- Offers its own services: international office, tutors, health and campus security.
Shall we look at it together?
